Simon Mach, New Canadian Circle Of Friends says, “The Arts of August is a great effort and program. It helps young people of all ethnic and social backgrounds explore mentorship and tools for life. This is a great example of community groups coming together to help youth, help themselves and others. It teaches them how to be productive community members.”
There will be a cheque presentation for World Vision’s Somalia Relief Effort.

The Arts of August, encourages the public to come out to this free event (refreshments are included). Youth appreciate the community support, comments and feedback. Enjoy an evening of viewing over 50 creative masterpieces by Hamilton’s youth.
Arts of August was developed out of Living Rock’s 2003 Anti-Racism Initiative. The events are held in partnership with local youth and art organizations.
